GYUMRI APPRENTICE HOUSE

A LEARNING CENTER TO BUILD YOUR FUTURE

At Apprentice House, apprenticeship is more than technical know-how: it's a gateway to independence. Thanks to our “learning by doing” approach, young people aged 16 to 22 are trained in our bakery, pastry, and cooking workshops, under real-life conditions, while continuing their schooling.

Supervised by qualified master trainers, they acquire solid skills in their trade and discover the realities of the working world.

To enhance their employability, each course includes modules in marketing, foreign languages, digital skills, and entrepreneurship.

A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE SERVING TRAINING AND SOLIDARITY

Apprentice House is more than just an educational center; it's a veritable social enterprise. Young people learn by producing bread, pastries, and meals served in our solidarity restaurant.

Proceeds support the inclusion of the most vulnerable and community action.

Soon, a catering service and the organization of public events will enable us to professionalize our young people further, while ensuring the site's financial autonomy.

AN INTERGENERATIONAL MULTIMEDIA CENTER

The Apprentice house multimedia center offers accessible training in digital tools for young and seniors.

Thanks to a weekly intergenerational club, knowledge transmission becomes a bridge between generations and a lever for social inclusion.

More than 100 participants have already been trained in basic digital skills, including Internet browsing, email, and office automation.

To enable young people to adapt to the needs of the job market, the center also offers advanced training in programming, digital marketing and 3D printing, etc.

A SENIORS' CLUB TO BREAK ISOLATION

In our neighborhood, many elderly people live alone, without social ties or access to cultural or creative activities. The Senior’s club at the apprentice house offers them a place to listen, meet, and share.

We organize film clubs, themed discussions, cooking and beauty workshops, and traditional celebrations, but above all, our seniors' club is made to foster social connections.

Thanks to the involvement of young volunteers, this place has become a genuine intergenerational home, warm and respectful, where every senior can find their place and feel valued.

A GUEST HOUSE FOR YOUNG GIRLS

At the Apprentice House, accommodation also serves as an educational tool. Our guest rooms offer a practical training environment for young apprentices in the hospitality, hotel, and catering industries.

They primarily cater to girls from remote villages, offering them a safe and comfortable place to stay during their training in Gyumri.

At weekends and during the vacations, the rooms are also open to tourists who are willing to help. By choosing to stay here, they contribute directly to financing our social and educational initiatives while enjoying an authentic, human experience.
