At Miassine, we believe that the economy must first and foremost serve people. Our training and social entrepreneurship initiatives offer young people, refugee women and people affected by the 2020 war the means to build their future.
Whether in baking, pastry-making, cooking, hospitality, entrepreneurship or digital skills, they learn a trade by doing, surrounded by professionals who guide them towards employment.
Our commitment doesn't stop there! Every loaf of bread produced, every meal prepared, every service rendered benefits the community: from the children and elderly members of the intergenerational club to the partner restaurants that support our projects.
Here, everyone contributes and receives in return, in a virtuous circle where learning becomes a driving force for solidarity and development.
- Apprenticeship programs in baking, pastry-making, and cooking. - Training in digital skills, including animation, web development, 3D modeling, and programming. - Development of entrepreneurial skills and “soft skills” to facilitate integration into the job market.
- Some of the food products are distributed free of charge to those in need, while others are sold to ensure the project's financial sustainability. - Creation of a solidarity restaurant and a club for seniors to break their isolation and strengthen intergenerational ties.
- Organization of cultural clubs, musical events, and creative workshops. - Space for children, featuring a library and educational activities, to foster their love of books and learning. - Raising awareness of environmental protection and introducing sustainable practices such as recycling and the use of renewable energies.
- Comfortable rooms are provided for low-income young people studying in Gyumri, and are also available to tourists on weekends. - The young participants learn the hotel trade by working alongside professionals, while contributing to the region's tourism development.
